Brian Klein Quoted by Business Insider About SDNY Crypto Fraud Trial of Two MIT Brothers

Brian Klein was quoted in a Business Insider article about the fraud and conspiracy trial of James and Anton Peraire-Bueno who are accused of executing a complex bot-on-bot theft of $25 million crypto in just 12 seconds.

“Just because someone lost money and someone made money doesn’t mean there was a crime,” Klein told Business Insider on November 3, 2025. “In every trading market in the world, there are winners and losers.”

The article also notes Klein’s recent precedent-setting “code is law” win for firm client Avraham Eisenberg. Earlier this year, a SDNY judge overturned Eisenberg’s market manipulation convictions by a jury based on post-trial briefing.
